Venue for Silverstone F1 Grand Prix Campers

On the weekend of July 10/11, 2004 Great Horwood Cricket Club will be opening the outfield and club facilities to Grand Prix visiting campers. We have space for xx pitches on Friday July 9, with an additional xx pitches available from 7:30pm on Saturday July 10.

We offer club facilities, including showers, toilets and bar. We will be offering breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, a barbeque on Saturday and packed lunches for Saturday and Sunday.

Local services include taxis (including minibuses), two village pubs (both providing good food). In the next village (two miles away) there are take-aways (Chinese, Indian and fish & Chips) and three restaurants (French, Indian and Italian). For the occasional oversight or camping maintenance we have a camping equipment supplier within two miles.

We can offer parking at competitive rates adjacent to the Silverstone circuit.
To use the club bar facilities, it will be necessary for visitors to become temporary members of our club.
